Mass at the Tomb of Pope St. John Paul II

Greetings from the Catholic Pilgrims in Rome!

Today was a full day of touring, exploring, and experience . . . which started with Mass at the tomb of Pope St. John Paul in St. Peter's Basilica! It was just an amazing experience attending Mass so close to a canonized saint, especially one who did so much for the Catholic Church!

Three priests concelebrated Mass - Fr. Chris Podhajsky, Fr. Mike Philips, and Fr. Brian Dellaert. We prayed for all of you, and we do so at every Mass we attend. The painting behind the altar was of St. Sebastian, who we've studied in the Epic Church History study.

After Mass, we went into St. Peter's Square for the Wednesday papal audience with Pope Francis.
