Beginning on Monday, November 3, 2014, pilgrims from Immaculate Conception parish in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and elsewhere in eastern Iowa are traveling to Rome, Italy for a 10-day Catholic pilgrimage. The pilgrimage is focused primarily on Rome with a day trip to Assisi.We have a full, amazing itinerary ahead of us, and my plan is to document the journey via this blog, depending on available time and Internet access, of course.

Eucharistic Adoration "Vatican Style"
I got to spend some wonderful time in prayer in front of the Blessed Sacrament . . . In the Eucharistic Chapel at St. Peter's Basilica! Wow! You are truly in the Holy of Holies!
